Heidi Goodarzi
Dr. Heidi Goodarzi
Heidi Goodarzi, M.D, F.A.A.D., graduated from Harvard Medical School after receiving her bachelor’s degree from University of Pennsylvania. She completed her first year of residency in pediatrics at the Massachusetts General for Children, a Harvard Hospital in Boston, MA. She then completed three years of dermatology residency at University of California, Davis.
Dr. Heidi has been actively engaged in dermatology research and has published many peer-reviewed articles. She received a Natio nal Science Foundation award, as well as an American Skin Association grant for melanoma & skin cancer research.
Dr. Heidi specializes in Women’s & Children’s Skincare & Disease. She is well-trained in all aspects of medical, surgical, cosmetic and pediatric dermatology, and offers a range of cosmetic and medical dermatological treatments, laser therapy, and dermatological surgery.
Dr. Heidi genuinely cares and is fully dedicated to serving families and her community in Orange County, CA. She has been practicing Medical, Surgical, Cosmetic, and Pediatric Dermatology in North Orange County since 2011 where she lives with her husband and three young children.
Daniel (Dan) Mosallaei MD
Dr .Daniel (Dan) Mosallaei
Dr. Dan is a dedicated dermatologist with deep roots in Orange County. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in Biochemistry from UCLA before earning his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. During medical school, he completed a prestigious Dean’s Research Year, leading a pivotal trial on translational read-through therapy for a severe childhood skin disease known as epidermolysis bullosa, published in a leading dermatology journal, JAM.
Dr. Dan did his dermatology residency training at a combined program at USC and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. It was during their time at Children’s Hospital that Dr. Dan and Dr. Heidi worked together at and developed a professional collaboration.
Dr. Dan’s clinical interests include dermatoethics and advancing new therapeutics, with a strong focus on patient-centered care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and experiencing the diverse cuisine of Orange County and Los Angeles.
Mary
Mary- Medical Records & Medication Manager
Mary is our dermatology assistant who supports the practice by ensuring accurate documentation of patient visits and managing clinical records. She helps maintain efficient workflows so providers can focus on delivering personalized, high-quality dermatologic care.
Mary holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacology and is highly detail-oriented, making her especially well suited to overseeing prescribed medications. In pediatric medicine, medications are often carefully calculated based on a child’s weight or body surface area. Mary meticulously reviews refill requests to ensure medications are used safely and exactly as intended.
She is committed to professionalism and compliance while bringing a positive, supportive presence to the practice every day.
Dina
Dina - Medical Assistant
Dina began her journey with Children’s Dermatology of OC as a patient and later joined our team, bringing a genuine passion for connecting with and supporting families. She is currently a pre-health college student exploring various healthcare career paths. Dina approaches every patient and family with exceptional attention and care and is always willing to step in wherever the office needs support.
Originally from the East Coast, she enjoys traveling back to the DC area, has a keen interest in fashion, and is a devoted sister and daughter
Sanjana
Sanjana - Medical Assistant
Sanjana has a strong passion for pediatric medicine. She is currently a pre-medical student and a senior at UC Irvine, majoring in Cell Biology and Medical Humanities. She plays an integral role in supporting both our patients and physicians with care and professionalism.
Outside the office, Sanjana enjoys dancing, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family.
Rachel
Rachel - Patient Educator
As a medical laboratory scientist with a strong background in healthcare and clinical documentation, she brings valuable knowledge to educating families and teenagers about their dermatological needs and treatments.
Known for her attention to detail and reliability, she takes pride in supporting both her team and the families she serves with care, accuracy, and professionalism, always striving to deliver high-quality patient care.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching animated shows, playing sports, and exploring big cities.
